Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go. For the children, they mark, and the children they know the place where the sidewalk ends.

CHERRY SEASON

Evan grew up on a cherry farm. We took the kids down to visit Grandma and Grandpa last weekend and to pick cherries with the kids.

Watching the pie cherries go through Grandpa's big industrial cherry pitter.

The kids had such a great time running wild of the farm and Grandma made the most amazing cherry cobbler for us to enjoy that night. Cameron and I are going back to pick some more tomorrow!

ANNIE THE POOH at 9 months

Anne is almost 9 months old! She is changing so much and just decided this week that she has opinions! She got super mad at Heather today when Heather wouldn't share her Z-Bar. She is trying hard to start talking to us about how she thinks things should be. She can say "cracker," "blah, blah, blah," and blow raspberries on demand!

She has some super cute teeth!
This little ray of sunshine is the root of whatever sanity I have left. She is the only one who hasn't learned to talk back! She is just a pure joy to have in our home and our family.
Being a fourth child means sometimes you get a little neglected. Here, she fell asleep in her high chair while I was sweeping the floor after lunch...poor baby.

UPDATE

Hello friends...what a busy few months we've had at our house! I have so much to post about and catch everyone up on. I just got a new camera after being with out one since our Montana trip, so I have LOTS of pictures, but first I wanted to tell you all about a new blog I have started at chasingcameron.blogspot.com. It's going to be a lot different than this one. Here I want to continue posting pictures of the kids and our adventures, but my new blog will be more my thoughts and feelings about mothering- particularly the challenges of mothering a kid with special needs. I hope you enjoy it. I'm looking forward to having a place to share all of my thoughts and feelings and discoveries on my journey to finding answers to our challenges.
