Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go. For the children, they mark, and the children they know the place where the sidewalk ends.

Randi comes to town!
I met Randi in 9th grade Spanish class, we sat next to each other and hit if off right away. One morning after early morning seminary, I was walking down the hall and heard a familiar voice yell "Rebecca! Your a MORMON!" Once we knew we shared the same faith, we were pretty inseparable for the next couple of years until I moved away. And even though we haven't lived in the same town since then, we have been best friends now for 18 years! All through high school and college and the years since, she has been such a strength to me. Our lives are very different these days, she has her job as a pastry chef at a swanky Seattle restaurant and I have my ever growing brood, but despite our differences, she always supports me and listens to my endless venting, and my family LOVES when Aunt Randi comes to town!
Ewan and Randi on our way to church.
Heather was CRACKING UP tonight with Randi. The kids all LOVE her! When I told Cameron she was coming yesterday, he said "will she stay with us for a couple of weeks?"
Tonight in his bedtime prayer he asked...''Heavenly Father, next time Aunt Randi comes, can she stay for longer and not just two days?"

How great is it to have such a wonderful friend and support like that?! It's even better when that person loves your kids and your kids love them! Great post!

I remember you talking about Randi in Hawaii. Here is a scary thought. Ten years ago we were doing KMK!
