The boys are both into Pirates right now. Cameron says he's Jack Sparrow and Ewan calls himself Will Turner...Cameron asked me last week for some rum to go with his lunch, as that is the most appropriate pirate drink. I found the boys these Pirates of the Caribbean dress up accessories at Target on clearance for just a couple of dollars, and made them wait until they "earned" them. Today was the day. They had fun so much fun fallowing their map and searching the house for treasure.

I mentioned in my last post that Baby Anne's clothes are sorted, washed and put away. Well little miss Heather is fascinated by them. She keeps taking them out to examine, fold into piles, and try on. Today when I thought she had been down for her nap for an awfully long time, I went up to check on her and found this...
She had four pairs of little tiny baby stretch pants pulled up to her shins, and eight newborn onesies pulled over her head.
I just can't get mad at her, even though it drives me crazy that my clean folded baby cloths are all over her bedroom floor. I know how excited she is to be a big sister and how fascinated she is with all things "baby" right now. I just hope she gets over this faze before Anne is born...

Rum! That's hilarious. Was he devastated when you told him that under no circumstances were you going to give him any rum?
And Heddy. The cuteness is almost painful.
Heather with the baby clothes is hysterical. Lillianne doesn't "get into" anything but Sophie and Andrew were into EVERYTHING. I know exactly what you are facing with that one. I am just so grateful to have had a rest from it the third go round. With Lillianne it's the constant questions. Today she even said Can I ask you a question so we are now getting questions about questions. I have a feeling that you will not be able to leave Heather and the baby in the same room alone or you might get some "scary" dress-up!
It's a crack-up reading all these adventures you're having chasing kids down the street or finding them wearing all the baby's clothes.
I think the worst I experienced as a babysitter of young kids was the hair cutting event. The 3 and 4 year old had been quiet too long while I had been feeding the baby. Noah had cut the hair off the willing Sophie so they could have fur lined boots.
Fortunately no one got stabbed and the mother had been through this sort of thing before.
