So a little background...

High School in Washington, was 10-12th grades. I spent my 10th grade year in Kent, WA and then my Junior year we moved back to Friday Harbor, WA in the San Juan Islands where I had gone to elementary school. I graduated from Friday Harbor HS in 1993.
So now to the questions...
1. Did you date anyone from your High School?
Yes.
2. What kind of car did you drive?

A 1975 yellow Cadillac Elderado. Someone from church gave it to my dad. We lived across the street from the High School, so mostly I just drove it to seminary. That is until the breaks went out on it one morning on my way to seminary and I smashed it into a retaining wall...
I think it got about 2 miles to the gallon. And, yes. That is me. Trying to be funny. I really debated about whether I would post this picture.
3. What was your most embarrassing moment of HS? I sang in a HS gong/talent show my senior year. I sang "One" from A Chorus Line while my good friend Rachel danced. Out of nerves, and TOTALLY UNAWARE, I was pulling up my knee length dress on one side the whole time I was singing. By the end of the song (so I was told) most of my leg was showing. I guess the audience mostly thought I was trying to be sexy, but that was CERTAINLY not the case!
Oh, and we won first place.
4. Were you a party animal?
Hardly.
5. Were you considered a flirt?
I certainly hope not. I don't think so.
6. Were you in Band, Orchestra or Choir?
No. No. and No. The choir in our tiny HS was, lets say, hmmm...pathetic. I would have been one of the only ones singing in tune out of the maybe 9 people in the choir. I did study voice and do a lot of theater.
7. Were you a nerd?
Nope.
8.Were you on any varsity teams?
Not on your life. I pretty much did Theater, Theater, Theater. Here are some pictures to prove it:

In a HS production of Narnia. (a musical version of The Lion The Which and the Wardrobe) and in a Community Theater production of Shenandoah. Both my senior year.
9. Did you ever get suspended/expelled.
Yeah, right.
10. Can you sing the fight song?
I have a hard time remembering if I even went to any sporting events...
11. Who were your favorite teachers? My drama teacher, of course. Fred Yockers. He was amazing and we all loved him. He told me once that the light I brought to the stage was not just about acting, but that it would bless whom ever I came in contact with and what ever I chose to do with my life. I think about that sometimes when I'm reading bedtime stories to my kids and doing all the voices...
12. Where did you sit during lunch?
We usually went off campus
13. School mascot?
Wolverine
14. Did you go to homecoming?
Yes. With a group of friends. It was a blast.
15. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
Once was more than enough.
16. What do you remember most from graduation?
Elation. It was a great ceremony. There were only 47 people in our graduation class, so it was really personal and special and I got some great scholarships.

17. Where did you go on Senior skip day?
Did we have a senior skip day? I don't think so. I did skip one day my senior year. My most brazen act of rebellion ever. My group of friends and I spent the day at the beach freezing our toushies. I'm the one in the blanket.

18. Were you in any clubs?
Um, hilariously, yes. The FBLA. (future business leaders of America). Ha ha.
19. Have you gained any weight since then.
A little (cough, cough)
20. Who was your prom date?
Again, I went in a group and it was fabulous. Here we are...

21. Are you planning on going to your 10 year reunion?
Um, that was a few years ago...and yes I went and it was really, really fun!
22. Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?
Hang in there. It's almost over.

I think this is my favorite tag of all time. I love reading about people's histories. And I must say, you look might schexy in those white leggings on top of that hot car! :) I was really surprised you weren't in choir! So, were the musicals a one man show? If not, I bet you were the only reason people came! Man, how I miss your voice!
OMG! This is so much fun!! I am going over to my Mom and Dad's this weekend to get some photos to complete the tag. You were gorgeous, by the way! (still are, but you know what I mean).
Hilarious. Just so you know, I hope one day to go to my ten year reunion (cough, cough).
What an incredible story. I loved it, and especially the pictures. How marvelous for our family that Evan found you! And how fun for the children to have a drama queen for a mom!!
Ditto what Trisa said! I like to hear what people were like back in the days! I've seemed to forget what it was like. Maybe that's a good thing!
Check out that HOT MAMA on the car!:) WOW!! You seem to have always been beautiful and talented. I love it!
