I surprised Evan with a special "Congratulations" for surviving these last few months of Pharmacy School. All he knew was that we were leaving at 4:00.
Our dear friend Marilyn stayed with the kids and provided a gift certificate to a super nice Seafood Restaurant. We had an amazing dinner...and then hit the road...
By 6:30, we were out in the country in the middle of nowhere checking into our B&B.
We spent almost two hours just walking in the country and talking...down country roads...
And through vineyards...
Then we came back and Evan watched a baseball game on the big screen TV while I took a long Bath in a huge soaker tub...mmmmm..... And the bed...the softest, pillow-ee-est, fluffiest, bed with the thickest down comforter I have ever seen! It was very luxurious!
Breakfast consisted of homemade rhubarb muffins, sausage, fruit and yogurt, hash browns, a veggie omelet made with fresh tender asparagus from their garden, a fruit smoothie...I don't know how we ate all that, but we did! It was delicious!

It was delicious! It was the most quiet, relaxed, peaceful, sweet, 20 hours we've had in very, very long time!
Thank you Marilyn!

Did you ask someone to take a picture of you kissing, or did you manage that on your own? Gross. Keep it to yourselves, disgust-os.
Anyway, sounds like a great trip! You two definitely deserved it.
Oh how sweet! I am so glad you guys were able to get away. You really do deserve it!
Soooo jealous!! You guys deserve it!-Vicki
