Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go. For the children, they mark, and the children they know the place where the sidewalk ends.

A BIG GIRL NOW!

Heather is all about being a big girl these days. ( But don't call her a "Big Kid" or she will correct you in no time- "I a not a tid, I a dirl!" She insists on doing everything herself. Getting to go to school was a BIG deal! She wore her new "sparkwy shoes" and "sweater toat" and we walked over to the school just the two of us together...
She reminds me so much of myself at her age in this picture. I had to post it just to show my mom. Don't you think she looks like me here mom?

With her teacher "Miss Heather," reading a dinosaur book, painting...
Her painting started out with "stripes and polka dots" but it was just too fun to stop, so by the end, there were about 10 layers of paint covering every square inch of her paper.

Those kids are so adorable. I am so jealous that Heather is in school. I am trying to convince Duane that Lillie needs to go to preschool a couple of days a week but he thinks she should be at home with me until next year (easy for him to say!). I love that Cameron wants to wear a raincoat even when it's not raining. Lillianne wears a bathing suit every day at home. She calls it her "baby soup."

Yay for Valley Christian Preschool! Those pictures made me miss Portland! Michael is dying to go to preschool, but I won't let him (and most of the schools won't let him) until he's potty trained. It's the only motivation tool I have left! I hope they love it at their new schools! And I hope you enjoy some down-time! I can't wait to see that new baby!
