Yes we'll walk with a walk that is measured and slow, And we'll go where the chalk-white arrows go. For the children, they mark, and the children they know the place where the sidewalk ends.

THANKSGIVING

Evan's Mom and Dad and brother Kirk joined us for Thanksgiving this year. Ev's parents just got back from a long trip, so it was the first time they got to see Anne.Legs were a hot commodity this year. As Grandma put it, "Too bad they don't make turkeys with three legs."
Anne meeting Grandma and Grandpa McAllister.
We had a very kid friendly meal this year...no fine china, no crystal, no linen napkins...I put butcher paper on the table and had the kids draw pictures of what they are thankful for. Here are Ewan and Cameron's sweet renderings...
Ewan said he drew a bed and then wanted me to draw him and I laying on it...Then he said "I'm glad when you cuddle with me..."

This speaks for itself. He sounded out "thankful" all on his own...is that so precious?

What a great way to celebrate with the kids, I love the hats. We are thinking of you this holiday season.

What a cute idea. I love the "fankful", that's awesome! Looks like you had a great time. Anne is getting bigger and more alert.
